Hello. My name is Abigail Rose Drumm.*

Writer. Researcher. Math student. Lifelong learner.

I am a mathematics Ph.D. candidate at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) in Worcester, MA. I am currently advised by Dr. Francesca Bernardi. My research interests lie generally in the application of mathematics to solve engineering and biological problems; and specifically in small-scale fluid dynamics and biological fouling.

I graduated with a B.S. in Mathematics from Regent University (Virginia Beach, VA) in 2021 and an M.S. in Applied Mathematics from WPI in 2024.

Outside of mathematics, I am passionate about adoption and foster care. Since May 2021, working with the National Council For Adoption in Alexandria, VA, I have contributed to essays, data collection efforts, and research papers on issues and trends in U.S. adoption and foster care.

When not working, you can find me reading (see my current reads on Goodreads!), writing essays and stories, or exploring my community.
